It has kept our loving Brittany dog safe for 10 years now. She has free run on 4 acres. I greatly appreciate their continued service to the product if a line is broken.Posted on L. WardTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were referred to Dog Watch by some folks that use their fencing and were very pleased with the results. So far the folks at DW have been exceptionally helpful, positive and supportive. They obviously love what they do and are really good at it. We are in the training phase and it's amazing how our dogs respond to Dave (and Cole) and to the training. We are getting what we hoped for. We communicated via email which worked well for me. He was prompt in responding to my request. He showed up on time and new exactly what we needed. I will be contacting them again. They drove a distance, and I greatly appreciate them accommodating us. Dogwatch Hidden Fence is a great invisible fence source, and I highly recommend Dogwatch Hidden Fence of the Triad.Posted on Bruce STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our experience with DogWatch of the Triad has been simply wonderful, every step along the way from our initial outreach to the company (Dave) to the installation of the hidden fence system (Cole) and initial training (Cole) for our puppy. Our experience with the installation with Cole far exceeded our expectations. On the initial walk-around, he asked in detail about our preferences and concerns with the installation, and thoroughly addressed our questions to ensure we were satisfied. He was careful with the lawn, our gardens and trees to limit any disruption. Cole was relaxed, friendly, and quite knowledgeable about the hidden fence and the training process, and provided practical and helpful information to get us started. We're pleased we selected DogWatch Hidden Fence of the Triad for our puppy!Posted on Mary G (MaryG)Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service from friendly and knowledgeable folks. Scheduling consultation was very easy, and they were able to come out and install right away. Training was helpful.

You Asked, We Answered
The SideWalker is used to train dogs to walk on a leash without pulling and to reinforce appropriate leash walking behavior.
A sensor under the collar strap on the SideWalker is triggered by pressure when the dog pulls on the leash (or when you pull the leash to direct the dog into the desired position.) When the sensor is activated, the dog receives either a vibration or a stimulation. The SideWalker should be set to a level that is just enough to distract the dog from the pulling behavior. Most dogs learn quickly that the sensation stops when the pulling stops.
Several variables affect how quickly your dog’s behavior will change, most notably the personality of your dog and the environment in which you are training the dog. Most dogs begin to understand the relationship between pulling and the vibration/stimulation after several activations of the collar. The pulling behavior diminishes quickly in some dogs and more gradually in others. If there is no noticeable change in pulling behavior after a reasonable trial period, check the collar to make sure the fit is good and the contact posts are the correct size. If collar fit is appropriate and the dog continues to pull, the SideWalker setting should be increased one level.
The SideWalker is safe and effective on dogs as small as 6 pounds.
We recommend waiting until the dog is 4-6 months old.
The components in the SideWalker are specified to operate from minus 25 degrees (F) to 125 degrees (F). A significant and rapid change in temperature may temporarily disrupt some of the SideWalker functions until the device adjusts to the new temperature level.
